bobbi brown pot rouge pretty powerful

WTF IS IT?
Bobbi Brown’s new shade of Pot Rouge – a coral-based, mid pink. I literally LOVE this product for many many reasons. Ones that I probably shouldn’t go into in both a beauty review and a charity beauty review at that. For International Women’s Day nonetheless. Fucking hell, I’m so going to get trolled…

YASSSS. New Motionless In White single. Cannot wait for the album, and for Download. If you like Manson, or just fun goth-rock these guys are sick. That’s short and sweet, but yeah.

WHY SHOULD I CLICK PLAY? MIW are all the lols and a nice slick of goth-rock joy.
SOUNDS LIKE: Erm, Manson? I always call them Manson-lite, but that’s not super fair. They’re just goths tryna make a living.
THE DETAILS: Their new album Graveyard Shift, comes out on May 5 through Roadrunner Records.

Watch it below and pre-order Graveyard Shift here: http://miw.lnk.to/GraveyardShift

I did a wee video with the guys at Huffingtin Post UK about being an Asian woman and dating. I should have led with the story about the guy who asked if I wanted to engage in ‘race play’  – totally forgot about that one till I watched this video back. Anyway, have a look – and share if you agree! Click here.

WHY SHOULD I CLICK PLAY? This. Voice. Dreamy AF. I’m a metalhead and still think he’s insanely talented.
SOUNDS LIKE: Ed Sheeran – and well, other male singer-songwriters. But ALL the soul.
DETAILS: He’s 22, from North London, self taught pianist/gutarist and really fun on Insta. He’s already been working with producers like Kaytranada and Wookie. Big things are coming.
WHAT ELSE: He’s better acoustic I reckon – I’ve got mega beef with beautiful voices being overproduced – check out the acoustic version at the bottom first!  And follow him on Insta for lols!

So, I was having a friendly convo about the differences between black and white feminism (in relation to the recent marches and the picture, above) with my buddy, journalist and sex educator Alix Fox on Facebook.

It was super casual, and then Marie Claire asked for us to expand it feature because it was an exploration of the things people are thinking but aren’t saying but in a kind way. That last part is key,  we should all be helping to educate each other on what’s happening in the world and how people are feeling. Discussions are good! So, if you fancy a read, here’s the link to the original on marieclaire.co.uk – and here’s the article below:

ANITA: After the recent Women’s March there have been a few pictures doing the rounds – like this one where a WOC marcher holds a sign saying “Don’t forget White Women voted for Trump” while in the background three white girls with pussy hats take selfies. This picture says a lot for me, and it’s not just about the marches but a wider perspective on race and feminism right now. In my opinion, those three white women look like they’re having a bit of a crack at feminism, just for fun, so they can make themselves look good on social media. Whilst the woman of colour at the front is saying it as it truly is.
