Death Pedal – metal spinning in honour of Download festival

(Lots of familar faces here – hey Steph 😉

So this is the best thing ever and I was so sad to miss it, but wanted to post about it quickly anyway because, well, METAL SPINNING!!!!! Only a dream come true. I spin twice a week (usually at Virgin but sometimes Rebel 1 too) and always think how perfect a rock or metal spinning class would be. It’s all loud and angry – you just wanna work out super hard to it as opposed to shitty pop or dance.

Anyway, Download festival (as you know if you follow me on social, I’ve literally been going my whole life – it’s the best festival ever) took over a spin class at rebel 1 to get behind the Heavy Metal Truants (chairity initiative to raise money for Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust, and Childline by embarking on three days of cycling, covering 164 miles from Alexandra Palace and arriving Donington Park on Friday June 9th for Download.) So essentially this was a one off, but I’ve heard off the back of this event, Rebel 1 are thinking about a regular rock and spin class. Will keep you posted…anyway, here’s the playlist – it’s perfect if you spin on your own for just for working out to!

(That’s the Download mascot btw – in case you’re like WTF is that red thing?)
